Sarah Miranda Graham 
Sarah Miranda was born on August 22nd, 1834 in Rankin, Mississippi.1 Sarah Miranda's father was Reuben Calvin Graham and her mother was Nancy Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Robert,Jr. Graham and Christian Keahey. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Daniel Washington, Charles Robert, Mary Jane, Christian Elizabeth, Martha Angeline, Rebecca Demarious, Nancy Ann Matilda and Amanda Texana. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 90 on April 12th, 1925 in Rogers, Bell Co., Texas. She was buried in Reed's Lake Cemetery, Bell Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes

Sarah was blind for the last 30 years of her life. She suffered fr
om wh at they called, granulated lids. She never complained; eas gentle a
nd kin d; she dipped snuffl always wore little black bonnet and was a cons
iste nt Methodist. She died on Easter Day at the home of her daughter Aman
da. C SA Pension # 00247.
