She had two brothers and six sisters, named Daniel Washington, Charles Robert, Mary Jane, Sarah Miranda, Martha Angeline, Rebecca Demarious, Nancy Ann Matilda and Amanda Texana. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on May 19th, 1906 in Sandy Ridge, Mud Springs, Bell Co., Texas.
