Thomas served with Company I of the 17th Texas Infantry of Allen's Regi
me nt during the Civil War.
‌Thomas L. and Sarah Miranda were married in a religious ceremony in 1855.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named James H., William H., Thomas Martin and Amanda Jane.
