John William Thomas DeSpain

John William Thomas was born on July 15th, 1893 in Green Co., Kentucky.¹ John William Thomas' father was John William DeSpain and his mother was Melissa J. Morgan. His paternal grandparents were William Perry DeSpain and Mary Elizabeth Warren. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Ernest Franklin, Alfred Harrison, Alvin, Samuel, Lee, Henry George, Luther Herman, Mattie L. and Elizabeth Ellen. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on January 8th, 1967 in Kentucky. He was buried in Buffalo Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.¹¹
