John W. Bassham 
John W. was born about 1854 in Tennessee.1 John W.'s father was William F. Bassham and his mother was Dianah B. Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Leroy F., Isaac Newton, William J., James C., Henry D., Martha E., America Josephine and Malinda. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died on December 27th, 1934 in Maury Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
