Willie May (Twin) was born on July 4th, 1910 in Ellison Ridge, Summers Co., W Va.1 Willie May (Twin)'s father was Isaac Edmond Basham and her mother was Sallie Margaret Farley. Her paternal grandparents were William Blane Basham and Juliana Lydia Lilly; her maternal grandparents are Simmy Drewry Farley and Minerva Lilly. She had a sister named Dolly Faye (Twin). She was the younger of the two children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Luther Calvin, William Arthur, Monnie Beatrice, Anna Belle, Mary Etta, Mertie Melissa, Charlotte Elizabeth and Macy Lee. She died at the age of 91 on February 4th, 2002 in Charleston, West Virginia. She was buried on February 7th, 2002 in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.1 1 General Notes
