William Arthur Basham 
William Arthur was born on June 10th, 1904 in Ellison Ridge, Summers Co., W Va.1 William Arthur's father was Isaac Edmond Basham and his mother was Malinda Elizabeth Harvey. His paternal grandparents were William Blane Basham and Juliana Lydia Lilly; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Calvin Harvey and Mary Elizabeth Unknown. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Luther Calvin, Monnie Beatrice, Anna Belle, Mary Etta, Mertie Melissa, Charlotte Elizabeth and Macy Lee. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Dolly Faye (Twin) and Willie May (Twin). He died at the age of 47 on August 27th, 1951 in Charleston, Kanawha Co., W Va.1 General Notes
