Phebe J. Basham 
Phebe J. was born on November 2nd, 1850 in Tennessee.1 Phebe J.'s father was William D. Bassham and her mother was Nancy Ann (Eunice) Hinsely. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Basham and Pheebee Pinnicuff. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Russell Lyourfus, Jasper N. (Inspirit?), Solomon J. (Bud), William J., John S., V. E., Mary E., Cynthia (Frances) and Matilda Amanda. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named J. Richard, Thomas Avery, L. J., Nancy E. (Or Doris E), Sarah M. and S. E.. She died at the age of 17 on July 22nd, 1868 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
