Nancy E. (Or Doris E) was born on March 16th, 1867 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 Nancy E. (Or Doris E)'s father was William D. Bassham and her mother was Kisiah Roper. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Basham and Pheebee Pinnicuff. She had three brothers and two sisters, named J. Richard, Thomas Avery, L. J., Sarah M. and S. E.. She was the oldest of the six children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Russell Lyourfus, Jasper N. (Inspirit?), Solomon J. (Bud), William J., John S., V. E., Mary E., Cynthia (Frances), Phebe J. and Matilda Amanda. She died at the age of 44 on May 13th, 1911 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
