Nora Margaret (Maggie) was born on October 24th, 1879 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Nora Margaret (Maggie)'s father was Joseph Allen Basham and her mother was Sarah Frances Dowell. Her paternal grandparents were George Dowell Basham and Susan M. Campbell. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Nathaniel S., Mikel (Mike), William Henry, Thomas Joseph, John, Andrew Jefferson (Andy), Mary Elizabeth, Bennie Ellen (Beanie), Sallie Ann, Paulina "Linnie", Susan Morris, Margaret, Allie Jane and Evelyn (Eva). She was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 80 on August 6th, 1960 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
