Allie Jane Basham 
Allie Jane was born on September 7th, 1872 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Allie Jane's father was Joseph Allen Basham and her mother was Sarah Frances Dowell. Her paternal grandparents were George Dowell Basham and Susan M. Campbell. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Nathaniel S., Mikel (Mike), William Henry, Thomas Joseph, John, Andrew Jefferson (Andy), Mary Elizabeth, Bennie Ellen (Beanie), Sallie Ann, Paulina "Linnie", Susan Morris, Margaret, Nora Margaret (Maggie) and Evelyn (Eva). She was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children. She died about 1957 in Alexander, Morgan Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
