Martha (Mattie) Lou Basham 
Martha (Mattie) Lou was born on February 8th, 1874 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Martha (Mattie) Lou's father was Henry Nelson Basham and her mother was Mary Cordelia Russell. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Dowell Basham and Cassandra Hardin. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Turene Wallace, Henry Dee, Charles Russell, Carrie B., Amy Pauline and Lavencia May. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 28 on March 29th, 1902 in Curdsville, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
