Charles Russell was born on November 2nd, 1880 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Charles Russell's father was Henry Nelson Basham and his mother was Mary Cordelia Russell. His paternal grandparents were Henry Dowell Basham and Cassandra Hardin. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Turene Wallace, Henry Dee, Carrie B., Amy Pauline, Lavencia May and Martha (Mattie) Lou. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at 5 months old on April 17th, 1881 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
