John William Basham 
John William was born on April 26th, 1893 in Kentucky.1 John William's father was Stephen 'Hardin' Basham and his mother was Polly Miller. His paternal grandparents were Francis F. Basham and Nancy Farmer Smith. He had two brothers and a sister, named Birta Thomas, Louis 'Frank', Jr. and Bertha. He had five half-brothers named Raymond, Ulva, Wilby, Lois and William. He died at the age of 74 on June 6th, 1967 in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was buried in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.1 1 General Notes
