Isthmie Mae Basham 
Isthmie Mae was born on April 30th, 1922 in Brownsville, Edmonson Co., Ky.1 Isthmie Mae's father was Reuben 'Alfred' Basham and her mother was Martha Elender (Mattie) Self. Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Bartlett (Bartley) Basham and July Ann Johnson; her maternal grandparents were Greenberry Self and Elizabeth Lee Bostick. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Alex 'Clifford', Freddie Norman (Bartley), Everett Commadore Tilford, Homer Albert (Tuck), John Thomas, Living, Living, Living and Allbennie Florence. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Guy Ulysses (Lissies), Wiley, Reubin Kelley and Julia Ann. She died at the age of 75 in May 1997 in Jefferson County, KY. She was buried in Cub Creek Cemetery, Edmonson Co., KY.1 General Notes
