Gordon (Bennette) Basham 
Gordon (Bennette) was born on January 6th, 1898 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Gordon (Bennette)'s father was Silas Hardin Hailey Basham and his mother was Mary Isabell (Belle) Keown. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams. He had two brothers and a sister, named Herbert Evan, Casper Vaughn and Cornelia Edith 'Nellie'. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 on March 12th, 1975 in Smith's Grove, Warren Co., Ky.1 General Notes
