Florence Birdie Basham 
Florence Birdie was born on June 14th, 1880 in Basin, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 Florence Birdie's father was John Albert Basham and her mother was Amanda Catherine Pittman. Her paternal grandparents were William Blane Basham and Juliana Lydia Lilly; her maternal grandparents were Michael Pittman and Rebecca Margaret Kinser. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Henry Joseph, Giles Kelly, William Michael, Isaac Everette, Lawrence Hobart, Ivan McKinley, Rosabelle, Anna Laura, Julina Elizabeth, Ada Ethel, Rebecca Margaret and Lessie Dell. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 88 on September 24th, 1968.1 General Notes
