Cora Basham 
Cora was born on November 6th, 1866 in Arkansas.1 Cora's father was James Oliver, Sr. Basham and her mother was Lemira Jane Shelton. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Delilah Payne. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William Jonathan, James Oliver, Sara Jane, John Mahlon, Martha Ann Elizabeth (Mattie), Minnie B., Delilah 'Dilla' (Twin), Hannah (Twin), Julia Ellen and Josephine. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 76 on January 4th, 1943 in Clarksville, Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 General Notes
