Josephine Basham 
Josephine was born on August 31st, 1877 in Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 Josephine's father was James Oliver, Sr. Basham and her mother was Lemira Jane Shelton. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Delilah Payne. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William Jonathan, James Oliver, Sara Jane, John Mahlon, Martha Ann Elizabeth (Mattie), Cora, Minnie B., Delilah 'Dilla' (Twin), Hannah (Twin) and Julia Ellen. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 97 on August 16th, 1975 in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
