Susan Bell was born on July 28th, 1889 in Wallis, Austin Co., Texas.1 Susan Bell's father was John Linder Allen and her mother was Lottie Caroline Bell. Her paternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Michael L., Lottie Uvada, Audlie A., Alta Alice, Betsy, Ruby Rea, Mary Elizabeth and Anna Mae. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 35 on May 3rd, 1925 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas. She was buried in Roselawn Cemtery, San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
