Lottie Uvada was born on January 23rd, 1885 in Wallis, Austin Co., Texas.1 Lottie Uvada's father was John Linder Allen and her mother was Lottie Caroline Bell. Her paternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Michael L., Susan Bell, Audlie A., Alta Alice, Betsy, Ruby Rea, Mary Elizabeth and Anna Mae. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 84 on March 15th, 1969 in Brownsville, Cameron, Texas. She was buried in Lytle Community Cemetery, Lytle, Atascosa Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
