Ruby Rea Allen 
Ruby Rea was born on June 26th, 1900 in Eldorado, Schleicher Co., Texas.1 Ruby Rea's father was John Linder Allen and her mother was Lottie Caroline Bell. Her paternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Michael L., Lottie Uvada, Susan Bell, Audlie A., Alta Alice, Betsy, Mary Elizabeth and Anna Mae. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 89 in June 1989 in New Braunfels, Comal Co., Texas. She was buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, Kerr Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
