James Walter Allen 
James Walter was born in 1873 in Texas.1 James Walter's father was Harmon Holcombe Allen and his mother was Sarah Frances Modisette. His paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. He had two brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Harmon Samuel, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth, Anna Idella, Leona Bell, Sarah Eliza and M. B.. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 86 on January 26th, 1959 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.
