Mary Elizabeth Allen 
Mary Elizabeth was born on December 2nd, 1864 in Claiborne, Louisana.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Harmon Holcombe Allen and her mother was Sarah Frances Modisette. Her paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. She had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Harmon Samuel, James Walter, George Washington, Anna Idella, Leona Bell, Sarah Eliza and M. B.. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 40 on November 11th, 1905 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.
