Leona Bell Allen 
Leona Bell was born on December 8th, 1869 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 Leona Bell's father was Harmon Holcombe Allen and her mother was Sarah Frances Modisette. Her paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. She had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Harmon Samuel, James Walter, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth, Anna Idella, Sarah Eliza and M. B.. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 84 on April 26th, 1954 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas. She was buried in Gann Cemetery, Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
