Anna Idella was born on December 8th, 1866 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 Anna Idella's father was Harmon Holcombe Allen and her mother was Sarah Frances Modisette. Her paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. She had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Harmon Samuel, James Walter, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth, Leona Bell, Sarah Eliza and M. B.. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 4 in 1870 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas. She was buried in Gann Cemetery, Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
