Elizabeth Allen 
Elizabeth was born on November 26th, 1813 in Opelousas, Lousiana.1 Elizabeth's father was Martin C. Allen and her mother was Elizabeth Vice. Her paternal grandparents were John Benjamin Allen and Sarah Jane Sommers; her maternal grandfather was Nathaniel Vice and her maternal grandmother is Jermimah Unknown. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Miles Norton, James Bud, Martin Jackson, Benjamin J., Anna C., Mary G., Nancy, Sarah Ann and Carolina Eliza Matilda Cook. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 4 on August 25th, 1818 in Natchitoches, Natchitoches, Lousiana.1 General Notes
