Mary G. Allen 
Mary G. was born on February 18th, 1809 in Newport, Campbell, KY.1 Mary G.'s father was Martin C. Allen and her mother was Elizabeth Vice. Her paternal grandparents were John Benjamin Allen and Sarah Jane Sommers; her maternal grandfather was Nathaniel Vice and her maternal grandmother is Jermimah Unknown. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Miles Norton, James Bud, Martin Jackson, Benjamin J., Anna C., Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah Ann and Carolina Eliza Matilda Cook. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 28 on December 20th, 1837 in Texas.1 General Notes
