Annie Caroline was born on December 25th, 1846 in Hutto, Williamson, TX, USA.1 Annie Caroline's father was Benjamin J. Allen and her mother was Martha McNutt. Her paternal grandparents were Martin C. Allen and Elizabeth Vice; her maternal grandparents were Robert Blaine,Major McNutt and Mary Polly Jackson. She had four brothers named Martin Robert, William Brice, T. Horton and Benjamin Patterson. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James B., Joseph B., J. Miles, Nancy Jane and Frances Catherine. She died at the age of 29 on January 4th, 1876.1 General Notes
