John Thompson

John was born in 1809 in North Carolina.¹ John's father was Balaam Thompson and his mother was Catherine Rebecca Wilkeson. His paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Olive Melton. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jeremiah, James, Balaam and Olive. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 67 in 1876 in Highland, Ohio.¹
