Eli Thompson

Eli was born on February 1st, 1823 in Chatham , North Carolina.¹ Eli's father was Balaam McSwane Thompson and his mother is Jane Catherine Hughes. His paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Hannah McSwane. He had three brothers and a sister, named John L., Charles, Wesley and Rebecca M.. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 1 on January 29th, 1825.¹
