Charles Thompson

Charles was born on July 28th, 1822 in Chatham , North Carolina.¹ Charles' father was Balaam McSwane Thompson and his mother is Jane Catherine Hughes. His paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Hannah McSwane. He had three brothers and a sister, named John L., Eli, Wesley and Rebecca M.. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 50 in 1872.¹
