Joseph Noel Roy 
Joseph Noel was born on May 8th, 1745 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Joseph Noel's father was Joseph Roy dit Chaelleraut and his mother was Perrine Lacour. His paternal grandparents were Edmond Roy and Anne Jeanvier; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Lacour and Perrine Brette. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Pierre, Jacques, Jeanne, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Eleanor. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Auguste and Therese. He died at the age of 62 in 1807 in Opelousas, Louisiana.1 -
