William Merritt Porter 
William Merritt was born in May 1856.1 William Merritt's father was John Morgan Porter and his mother was Margaret Jackson. His paternal grandparents were William Porter and Eliza McComas. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on March 12th, 1937.1 -
