May Meadows

May was born about 1852.¹ May's father was Peter Meadows and her mother is Sophronia Stafford. Her paternal grandparents were John Meadows and Elizabeth Wyant. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Parkie, Charles A. E., Andrew, Ballard, Erastus S. R., James Earl, Martha A. E. and L. M.. She is the second oldest of the nine children.
