John Meadows 
John was born in 1770 in Anson Co., North Carolina.1 John's father was Thomas Meadows and his mother was Keziah Moberly. His paternal grandparents were Jason Meadows and Elizabeth Stone. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Jason, William, Thomas, Pleasant, Isaiah, Edward Moberly, Middleton and Dorcas. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 70 in 1840 in Whitley Co., Kentucky.1 -
