William Meadows

William was born in 1767 in North Carolina.¹ William's father was Thomas Meadows and his mother was Keziah Moberly. His paternal grandparents were Jason Meadows and Elizabeth Stone. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Jason, John, Thomas, Pleasant, Isaiah, Edward Moberly, Middleton and Dorcas. He is the second oldest of the nine children.
