Virginia Frances Lamb 
Virginia Frances was born on December 28th, 1871 in Page Co., Virginia.1 Virginia Frances' father was Mathew Lamb and her mother is Annie Meadows. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas W. Meadows and Elizabeth Breeding. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Emanuel Hezakiah, Wesley Allen, William Zebedee, Alexander, Thomas Henry, James Mathew, Walter Asberry, Harriet Anne Elizabeth S., Mary Ellen, Lucy Jane, Zandervon Obeliah and Drucilla E.. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 85 on August 2nd, 1957 in Page Co., Virginia. She was buried in Thomas Family Graveyard, Tanners Ridge.1 1 General Notes
THOMAS, VIRGINIA F. age 85 yrs. died 02 Aug 1957 on Tanner's Ridge, Page Co. Born 28 Dec 1871 in Page Co. d/o the late Mathew Lam & Annie Lam. Widow of William Henry Thomas who died 09 Feb 1946. Mrs. Thomas was one of the last two persons who had a lifetime home in the Shenandoah National Park. Children, Mrs. Junie Breeden, Bertha Cave, Mathew Thomas & Daniel Thomas all of Stanley, Irene Weakley of Silver Spring, Md., Minnie Offenbacker of Luray & Dorothy Cave of Shenandoah. Brother & sister, Walter Lam of Luray & Drucilla Meadows of Elkton. 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren. 1 daughter is deceased. Burial in the Thomas Family Cemetery. (issue 08 Aug 1957)
