Benjamin I. Kendrick 
Benjamin I. was born in 1778 in Chatham , North Carolina.1 Benjamin I.'s father was William Kendrick and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Thompson. His maternal grandparents were William Thompson and Hannah Bell. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Kenyon Thompson, Isham, Susan, Rebecca and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 60 on May 26th, 1838 in East Feliciana Parish, Lousianna.1 General Notes

home near Jackson known as "Asphodel" in east Feliciana Parish.
