Sarah Minerva was born on September 6th, 1832 in Monroe Co, Virginia.1 Sarah Minerva's father was Guy Dingess French and her mother was Arminta Dormer Chapman. Her paternal grandparents were DAVID Edwin French and MARY Dingess. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Henley Chapman, David Alexander, William Augustus, Charles Dingess, Mary, Fannie and Susan V.. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 87 on October 8th, 1919. She was buried in French-Mason Cemetary, Giles County, Virginia.1 1 -
