John Wesley Dean 
John Wesley was born on February 27th, 1851 in Rockingham Co., Virginia.1 John Wesley's father was Morgan Asbury Dean and his mother was Susannah Lurena Breeden. His maternal grandfather is Jonathan Breeden and his maternal grandmother was Nancy Meadows. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Nicholas Asbury, Sewell Alfred, James Morgan, Daniel Thurston, Mary Frances, Nancy Ellen, Martha Segourney Catherine, Sarah Elizabeth, Virgina Ann and Lucinda Matilda. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on June 18th, 1925. He was buried in Elk Run Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
