Elizabeth Susan was born on April 1st, 1861 in Mercer Co., Virginia.1 Elizabeth Susan's father was Jacob Comer and her mother was Elizabeth Meadows. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Comer and Elizabeth Ann Meadows; her maternal grandparents were JORDAN Meadows and Susannah Payne. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James H., Joseph Henry, John F., Levi G., William R., Louisa Jane, Mary L. and Mary S.. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 63 on January 30th, 1925. She was buried in New Zion Cemetery, Mercer County, West Virginia.1 2 -
