Young Gresham Butler 
Young Gresham was born on October 30th, 1810 in Amite Co., Mississippi.1 Young Gresham's father was George Pollard Butler and his mother was Polly F. Butler. His maternal grandfather was Hurd and his maternal grandmother is Smith. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Pollard P., Decatur P., George Putnam, Whittington, Webb, Short, Short and Whittington. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 41 on January 6th, 1852 in Amite Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
