Leander Pearis Bailey 
Leander Pearis was born on January 14th, 1873 in Giatto, Mercer Co., West Virginia. Leander Pearis' father was Jonathan Simms Bailey and his mother was Timeandre Melissa Godfrey. His paternal grandparents were Burrell B. Bailey and Nancy Bailey. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Edward, Garland Howard and Elizabeth Frances. He died at the age of 93 on December 17th, 1966. He was buried in Resthaven Memorial Park on west end of Princeton, Mercer County, West Virginia.-
