Archibald Bailey 
Archibald was born on May 10th, 1798 in Wythe Co., Virginia.1 Archibald's father was John Payton Bailey and his mother was Nancy W. Davidson. His paternal grandparents were RICHARD Patton Bailey and ELIZABETH Anne Belcher. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, James M., George C., Masten, Martha and Rebecca. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 on November 14th, 1876 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.
