LOVICE Atkins 
LOVICE was born on June 4th, 1796 in Morgan County, Georgia.1 LOVICE's father was ASA ATKINS and her mother was FRANCES Lea. Her maternal grandparents were GEORGE Lea and *LUCY Talbert. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Arnold, Asa, Ransom, George Lea, Jeremiah, Willis, Lucy J., Nancy and Eunice "Unicy". She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 69 on February 6th, 1866 in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas. She was buried in 1863 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Rusk County, Texas.1 1 General Notes

Lavicy and Thomas are buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rusk Co., TX. Her name is spelled Lovice on her tombstone. They had a granddaughter name Lovice but she was called "Vicie". My grandmother (Lavicy's gr granddaughter) was also named Lovice. (pronounced Luvis)
