Thomas Thaxton 
Thomas was born in March 1744 in Hillsboro, Orange, NC. Thomas' father was Abel Thackston and his mother was Lucy Davis. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, James X, William, Cyrus, George, Sarah "Sally" and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on August 29th, 1824 in Allen Co.,Kentucky.
Thomas and Jemima were married in a religious ceremony on February 4th, 1782 in Caswell Co.,North Carolina. They had a son and two daughters, named John, Martha and Rachel.

Martha Thaxton
Martha was born on May 4th, 1791 in Pendleton Dist., SC. She died at the age of 71 on September 11th, 1862 in Sangamon, IL.
John Thaxton
John was born on March 14th, 1800 in Pendleton Dist., SC. He died at the age of 54 on December 6th, 1854 in Washington, IL.
Thomas and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on May 19th, 1807 in Pendleton Dist.,South Carolina. They had four sons and four daughters, named WILLIAMSON, GEORGE, THOMAS, JAMES H., MATILDA, MILLY, PHEBE and SARAH.
