GEORGE THAXTON 
GEORGE was born about 1810 in , , Kentucky. GEORGE's father was Thomas Thaxton and his mother was Hannah Williamson. His paternal grandparents were Abel Thackston and Lucy Davis. He has three brothers and four sisters, named WILLIAMSON, THOMAS, JAMES H., MATILDA, MILLY, PHEBE and SARAH. He is the second oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Martha and Rachel.-
