Hammett Davis Thaxton

Hammett Davis was born on May 3rd, 1892 in Bedford Co.,Virginia. Hammett Davis' father was Nathaniel Garland Thaxton and his mother was Margaret Whitfield "Maggie" Nance. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Thaxton and Sophia Rucker. He had two brothers named George Oren and Robert Lee. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 21 on February 6th, 1914 in Indianapolis,Indiana.
