John William Tate 
John William was born in 1855. John William's father is George Washington Tate and his mother was Rosetta Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Tate and Susanna Hinecker; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Lacy and Lucy Lydia Horton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Caleab Harkins, George Riley, Burwell, General Grant, Scott, Sherman, Harrison, Cynthia Jane, Rebecca and Irna. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 in 1932.-
